Robbi Nanni is a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship (PATH) certified riding instructor who provides riding lessons to students with cognitive and/or physical disabilities. Horses are extremely therapeutic and can help individuals overcome anxiety, learn to walk, talk, and many other breakthroughs for the student. Depending on the student’s level of riding or disability there are two volunteers in addition to the instructor per rider during the lesson.
Robbi received an AAS in Equine Science from SUNY Morrisville and has competed in numerous horse shows in both the hunter and dressage disciplines. Her professional experience includes the establishment of a very successful therapeutic riding program at Horses for a Change in Esopus, NY. The spectrum of disabilities include autism, cerebral palsy, Down’s syndrome, blindness and anxiety.
